What is Multimedia Cartography?
according to my lecturer note: assoc.prof.faridah md yusof;
Multimedia cartography is The explosive development of interactive multimedia products on CD-ROM and the Internet, via the WWW, has generated immense interest in this field.
Multimedia cartography uses interactive web/CD-ROM and animated computer software to present mapping information. These media are used to store, develop and produce mapping products, for example, Internet telephone/street directories, tourist guides and animated street maps used in car GPS, as well as more conventional mapping products such as topographic maps.
